Tony Wied received the Republican main in Wisconsin’s eighth Congressional District.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Former Rep. Mike Gallagher instantly resigned from the seat in April after representing the district from 2017 to 2024, prompting a sudden main race to interchange him.<\/p>\n

After Gallagher introduced his stepping down, former President Trump endorsed Republican Tony Wied, a businessman and self-described “political outsider,” for the seat.<\/p>\n
