The IAEA confirmed late on Sunday that its consultants had witnessed “thick dark smoke coming from the north-western area of the plant, after hearing multiple explosions throughout the evening.”<\/p>\n

The IAEA and Zelenskyy confirmed that there was “no impact on nuclear safety” following the hearth and that radiation ranges remained regular.<\/p>\n

The nuclear watchdog didn’t say who attacked the cooling tower and as an alternative condemned the risk that steady assaults within the space pose to the plant.<\/p>\n

“Reckless attacks endanger nuclear safety at the plant and increase the risk of a nuclear accident. They must stop now,” IAEA Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi mentioned.<\/p>\n
