Vice President Kamala Harris cloned former President Trump’s pledge to remove federal taxes on ideas paid to staff in eating places, bars, accommodations and others within the service business.<\/p>\n

At a rally on the campus of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas on Saturday night, Harris pledged to battle for “working families of Americans.”<\/p>\n

“When I was attorney general of California, we worked together to crack down on wage theft,” she mentioned. “When I was a United States senator, we fought together for paid family leave and medical leave.”<\/p>\n

Harris, who obtained the endorsement of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, promised the droves of service and hospitality staff in Sin City to “eliminate taxes on tips.”<\/p>\n

“And earlier this year, right here in Vegas, we celebrated your historic contract win. And it is my promise to everyone here when I am president, we will continue our fight for the working families of America,” Harris mentioned. “Including to raise the minimum wage. And eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.”<\/p>\n

Trump was fast to reply on social media, placing Harris on blast for “stealing” his coverage.<\/p>\n

“Kamala Harris, whose “Honeymoon” period is ENDING, and is starting to get hammered in the Polls, just copied my NO TAXES ON TIPS Policy,” he wrote in a Truth Social submit.<\/p>\n
