Mr Jones explained: \u201cOCD has two main parts: obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are unwelcome thoughts, feelings, images, urges, worries or doubts that keep coming into your mind.<\/p>\n

“Compulsions are repetitive issues that you just do to scale back the misery or uncertainty brought on by obsessions.”<\/p>\n

He said there remains a stigma around perinatal mental health issues, but Mind Cymru is encouraging anyone who thinks they may be affected, to seek support.<\/p>\n

Kimberley has more than a quarter of a million followers on Instagram and she’s been sharing her mental health journey on the social media platform to raise awareness of the condition.<\/p>\n
