Comedian, actress and author Meera Syal is to learn a CBeebies bedtime story to have fun South Asian Heritage Month.
Wolverhampton-born Syal will learn Amma’s Sari by Sandhya Parappukaran, a narrative about reference to household and the celebration of cultural heritage, on CBeebies from 18:50 BST on Friday.
The story follows six-year-old Shreya, a second-generation migrant and her life at dwelling and the skin world.
Syal joins different stars to have appeared on CBeebies studying the tales together with Tom Hardy, Jack Black and Billie Eilish.
