President Biden mentioned he plans to marketing campaign for Democrat presidential candidate Vice President Harris in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state within the November election.
Biden spoke with CBS’s Robert Costa on “Sunday Morning,” making it the primary interview since he introduced in late July that he was bowing out of the presidential race towards former President Trump.
During the interview, Costa requested the president if the general public would see him out on the marketing campaign path for Harris.
“Yes, you will,” Biden mentioned, including that he talks to Harris on a regular basis.

Biden then spoke about her working mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, calling him a “great guy” who, had they grown up in the identical neighborhood, would have been his good friend.
“He’s my kind of guy. Yeah, he’s real. He’s smart,” Biden mentioned. “I’ve known him for several decades.”
Costa requested what the president would say to those that have expressed skepticism about his well being, the remainder of his time period and being out on the marketing campaign path for Harris.
“All I can say is watch,” Biden mentioned. “That’s all. Look, I had a really, really bad day in that debate because I was sick. But I have no serious problem.”

The 81-year-old incumbent’s halting supply and stumbling solutions throughout the CNN-hosted presidential debate in Atlanta on June 27 sparked widespread panic amongst Democrats and spurred calls from pundits, editorial writers and a few occasion donors for Biden to step apart in favor of a youthful, extra in a position standard-bearer.

“He and I are putting together a campaign tour in Pennsylvania,” Biden mentioned. “I’m going to be campaigning in other states as well. I’m going to do whatever Kamala thinks I can do to help most.”
