The Texas Rangers visited the White House Thursday and had been congratulated by President Biden on their 2023 World Series championship.
The Rangers gained the collection 4-1 over the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Corey Seager was named World Series MVP.
President Biden detailed their path to the World Series, which included failing to win the division on the final day of the common season and having to play within the wild-card spherical.

The Rangers swept the Tampa Bay Rays within the AL wild-card spherical and swept the Baltimore Orioles within the ALDS.
The forty sixth president of the United States famous the Rangers bought their “revenge” on the Houston Astros within the ALCS, which drew a vociferous cheer from the household and pals in attendance for the ceremony.
President Biden shouted out a number of gamers for his or her contributions throughout their run to the championship.

“The standout pitcher. Nathan (Eovaldi). Major League record with five wins in a single postseason.” Biden stated. “(Adolis) Garcia. Another major league record. Most RBIs in a single (post)season.”
Biden joked about how, if the Rangers win one other world collection, supervisor Bruce Bochy must both put his fifth World Series ring on his thumb or one other hand as a result of final fall was the supervisor’s fourth profession world collection win.

But it doesn’t look possible that the Rangers are going to win a second consecutive World Series, not to mention make the playoffs. The defending champs are 54-61, third within the AL West and 9½ video games again of the ultimate wild-card spot.
The Rangers gave Biden a No. 46 jersey together with his title on the again and a few cowboy boots with the Rangers’ World Series championship emblem.
Following the ceremony, the Rangers traveled to New York to play the New York Yankees Friday at 7:05 p.m. ET.
