Two males have been arrested in reference to a taking pictures on the campus of Vanderbilt University on Saturday afternoon that left one particular person wounded, the Metro Nashville Police informed Fresh News Digital.

Police stated the incident occurred round 4:30 p.m. on Saturday after an argument between members of a development crew who have been working at Sutherland House, a residence corridor.

The suspects have been apprehended and recognized by police as Luis Enrique Ramirez Sandoval, 38, and Jose Humberto, 27.

Vanderbilt officers stated three individuals have been taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening accidents. Metro Nashville Police stated one of many victims, a 19-year-old man, was shot within the arm.

“There is no ongoing threat to the university campus. Currently, two individuals remain in custody and three individuals have been transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries,” the college stated in an announcement.

Police stated a firearm was discovered on Sandoval and he was charged with aggravated assault.

Humberto is charged with facilitation of aggravated assault for retrieving the gun for Sandoval previous to the taking pictures, police stated. Additional prices towards Sandoval are additionally pending.

Police stated an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
